Hi, my name is Mrs. Eastburn and I am a second grade teacher. From time to time my wonderful husband will help me with a project or come into class and teach my students about various topics. In this video he demonstrates the process of recycling old broken crayons into new exciting shapes using chocolate molds and a special melting process. The children made and sold the crayons as part of a Reduce, Reuse, Recycle project for their Science Fair and donated all of the proceeds to the local Animal Shelter. It is an easy process but must be done under the supervision of a responsible adult as it involves an oven and hot wax. Enjoy!
